Voldemort’s return has been only met with the denial of the Magic Community, and the allegations that the World Famous Harry Potter “The Chosen One”, is nothing more then an attention seeking liar. But how far will the Ministry go to silent the one boy with the truth that could shake the foundations of the Wizarding World as we know it? How deep could their lies go, who will get hurt in the process, and who is there left to trust?
It’s the Trio's Fifth Year at Hogwarts, and an unexpected and unwelcome surprise awaits their return. At the Beginning of The Year Feast, instead of receiving their new school year’s tidings from Dumbledore, an old, fat, toad-like woman takes the beloved Headmaster’s place, a sure sign of the misfortune yet to come. Professor Umbridge, placed by the Ministry of Magic, as Hogwarts’ new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher marks the beginning of the Ministry’s take over at the school, as the once valuable and practical subject is turned into a study of theory against a nonexistent fear (a lie the Ministry wants you to believe, for even they cannot face the truth of what evil lurks on their very own doorstep).
As the whispers of darkness slip through the question students face is how are they to protect their selves, when the people they trust most of all, want them to have no knowledge of how to? And so Dumbledore’s Army is formed, the Ministry’s greatest fear, this rebellion of students unafraid to face the disturbing truth of Voldemort’s Return, lead by Harry Potter who does everything in his power to pass on his knowledge of Defense Against the Dark Arts before it is too late. And so the revolution begins, whether it be through pranking, lead by Hogwarts’ most infamous duo Fred and George Weasley, or the secret meetings of Dumbledore’s Army in the Room of Requirement, Hogwarts has now become home to an uprising of “WICKED” proportions.
However, this renegade of students is met with the brute force of the Pink Toad Princess Herself, Professor Umbridge. She has rallied together her own force of students into the Inquisitorial Squad, given the full rights of prefects, (deducting points, giving out detentions, delivering humiliating punishments in the showrooms of the school corridors) and having every desire to abuse them to meet their own needs, and Umbridge could care less as long as hers are met. And as soon as Dumbledore’s Army is found, Umbridge has a duel planned between her puppets in the Inquisitorial Squad, and the DA, the ultimate decider of everyone’s fate, and freedom. The school is now ripped in two by the forces of external foes, and it is up to you to fight and decide who wins. Which side will you join?
